My name is Amie Lipscomb, and I work in public safety communications with a strong focus on training, leadership development, and operational preparedness. I created this webpage as part of my Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) project with the goal of improving how agencies receive and share training information.
In public safety, timing matters. Too often, agencies learn about valuable training opportunities at the last minute, making it difficult to adjust staffing, budgets, or schedules. This site was created to help solve that problem by providing early, centralized awareness of upcoming trainings, conferences, and professional development opportunities for public safety communications and partner agencies.
While this project began as an academic requirement, it is rooted in real-world experience and a genuine desire to support agencies, training coordinators, and telecommunicators. My hope is that this space encourages proactive planning, reduces last-minute stress, and supports the continued growth and professionalism of those who serve our communities every day.
